Hey everyone,
I was curious as to what type of battery the 2017 Q7 is equipped with.
Are they lead acid, agm, or lithium ion? Planning on getting a battery tender. That's why i'm curious.
TIA

Anybody know?
It's pretty sad when the parts guy at the dealer doesn't even know what type it is haha

If the battery that Fly'n Family linked you to above is correct for your year, then I can tell you that the "...CE" Audi part number is an AGM type, H8 size battery.
But check the part number on the battery that you have in the car (or ask someone at the dealer [that knows what they're talking about, lol] to tell you what came in your car from the factory). I call tell you that some Audi models have a range of batteries used all contingent on the particular package combination the car came with. Some Q7s use the -CE (AGM H8), in the 1st gen some used the -DL (lead-acid H9).
Good luck!
