I've been reading that the S4 guys use a set of NA cams from the 2.8 and wanted to know if this is because NA cams feature a characteristic that lends itself well to FI and if the same gain could be had with the 4.2 40V by using the NA cams from say an S8?

the advantage of the 2.8 cams for the s4 is in the upper rpm range, as for the 4.2 im guessing your talking about in an rs6? I haven't really gotten into the internals of mine to much but I do know that audi wanted the motor to produce the majority of the power so I can only assume that the cams would already be pretty good.
