You always seem to be the one trying to referee the arguments and well, calm everyone down.
My point is, your objective seems a little hypocritical of our situations when other AZ admins post new threads like this: "BWHAHAH!!! Someone is going to be eating their own words. Consider yourselves OWNED! "

When we all know that particular thread was the first thread to really create a shit storm, and piss a lot of people off, what are your thoughts?

Who has my post pissed off? Where is the shit storm? All I hear is a bunch of [=(] [=(] [=(] [=(] because I posted the truth from the same few people that assummed the thread was directed at them. You being one of them. I have never met you, I didn't even know it was your car that Sarabi was working on. The post was not meant as a slam or flame against Eurocode or David Sarabi it was meant towards all the people who have been talking smack about GIAC being able to tune a B6 and to all the people saying the AWE kit will never make any power. Most of the people the thread was meant towards: Greg, Drew, Dejan, David D., etc all knew that is what was meant, ask any of them...... You need to see past yourself and not take everything so personal. This is the internet ya know..... Either way as far as I know no one is pissed. If Sarabi is pissed he has my cell phone number and can call me. If it is just you and your friends that are pissed... all I can say is get over it. The post was not meant to slam you or your car, your car was more just the example for direct comparison against Lee's car which represents everything people have been talking smack about. So again I hope your crying is over. If anyone has issues PM me and we can discuss whatever differences there is.

Oh and just so you know. Even if you had beat Lee on the dyno but he still was within 10-15 hp I would have posted the exact same thing. Because the car would have still made great power for the setup it is running and proved all the smack talkers wrong....

i thought your post TITLE was controversial as well, but i think you intended to attract a lot of attention, but i don't THINK it created a shit storm.

Exactly. It was intended to attract attention. As I felt it was something that needed to be said in this forum, hence my reason for posting it. There is/has been so much mis-information spread throughout this very forum over that past months. That when some ACTUAL HARD DATA shows up it needs to be posted to clear the BS that gets spread. But it did not say who I thought got owned or anything else. I guess a few people took it the wrong way.

This is no shit storm IMO. A few months ago there was threads that would be 8 pages long in like 30mins with personal attacks and all sorts of other BS. No THAT is a shit storm. [down]

your making not like my giac. they did very well but all this bragging and little-girlish whining is not chill at all. i got giac cus they seemed like the most mature company that was interested in performance....not bitching. i kinda had the impression that was REVOs job....[rolleyes]

Well I havent been posting that long, and I dont know what other people said about GIAC or AWE, but your stooping right down to their level, even though it may seem only fair, just remember that, im def not a cry baby, and I dont take anything on here seriously but it gets annyoing with all the bickering, your post was to bring attention, but you like everyone else knew what was going to happen with a statement like that, Jeff and I were not going to brag or talk shit about either car, thank god we have others to do it for us.

Brian is correct in that the Revo camp never believed that GIAC could make that kind of power, with that setup, myself being another detractor and vocal about it as well. I doubted Greg's #'s too, the event was not just an invent but shed a third party witness on the reality of what these cars are making, that's awesome.

The truth is we're all friends, and have our own camps to support and defend, honestly this is tame compared to the arguments in the past. lol, David has ruffled some feathers along the way, with his call outs and claims, yes he was the 1st B6 A4 to hit over 300 WHP on a Quattro but he himself did not believe that GIAC could do what they did and he has not given much credit to GIAC and it's successes without some sarcasm invoked as well, there's plenty of finger pointing to go around, no need to drag Anthony into this, dude I've called Saturnine out on his bias toward GIAC etc., the moderators have opinions too.

But that's competition and David has proved that he can back up his claims as his cars have done fantastic, against M3's ; ) and APR Stage 3's as well, but I know he was as suprised as I was that GIAC made more peak, albiet 1-6 HP, with that inferior setup than the ATP/Revo one. Brian knows this so he rubbed it in a little, he's a former S4 owner that's how those guys are, lol. [;)]

Jim I don't think you should take this personal, but I understand your reaction and why you're upset. Running the APR kit I got hit from both the Revo Clan and the GIAC Cabanna boys, lol. and at times I got extremely fired up about it, David thinks Revo is the greatest thing in the world and the only real tuner, lol, he loves what he does, maybe just a bit too much, haha. Do what Greg and I did, hit the track and prove your car is no slug, I mean you won the oval track that's just as big if not bigger than a dyno run, Brian gave you props for that, David mentioned he beat the VF car, why can't Brian mention that GIAC had two cars ahead of Eurocode?

So we on for Nov 12th, this is at Fontana right? It won't be tuner vs. tuner but Audi vs. BMW, and I think you guys have way more WHP, the M's may get whipped, we shall see. Pump gas only!!! haha I kid filler up with whatever you want. [wrench] [race]

Jimbo,

The point that Brian is trying to make is that AWE/GIAC has been called out time after time for the past years, as being "incompetent", "old dog that cant be taught new tricks..", you name it. Just about a month ago, another comment was made that: "AWE/GIAC are like the Lakers, champions yesterday, but LOOSERS today". Brian was merely trying to literally make the person who said that eat his own words, for we proved him wrong, though his choice in words really sucked. I think the only person that should be fighting this battle is the person who started it. A simple "sorry" or "good job" would have been more than appreciated, even via private PM if that person has too much pride to say so.

This has gone on before you ever even bought your car. I think it's time we both stayed out of this one. FACT: we are both happy w/ our numbers, and we should let the others "fight their own battles which they've started". Me and you on the otherhand, should go out and celebrate.

Gotcha guys, I think Brian and I are cool now anyways,

Drew, the CA Speedway event is the morning event and runs all day, not the night event. Hope everyone can make it. Of course I'll run on 91, thats the only fair competition imo, but I might have to run on some Kumho Victoracer sticky's[:D]

Brian Brian Brian what have you gotten me into here. Stay in and focus on the damn A6 Forum and leave these B6 A4 guys alone! Haha...I'd like to say I'm sorry, but you know I can't control these sorts of things, even when they're AZ Mods! Best I can do is slap 'em on the wrist and tell them to shut it! But I have found it's sometimes good to just let words fly and not censor or Moderate much. We're all adults here and for the most part we can work things out on our own. Which is what seems to have happened here. Everything was pretty much already explained by Drew, Jeff, and Brian (thanks guys [up]). It is often hard to tell who are friends in real life, and what comments may be directed at whom, if you don't know the whole situation and background story. But again, I'm just repeating what's already now known. If you have any other questions or comments, please post here or feel free to PM or email me.
