Since I still have the problem of no receiving any email notifications, I opted to once again change my email address to my gmail account. now I don't receive the activaction email and I'm off the az foruns...

I don't think it's going to help, but you can try. It's an issue with our host/server. We are going to be switiching to a better hosting company by the end of the year.
