Would these be a direct bolt on upgrade to a B8.5 A5??

TTRS brakes are not a direct bolt on upgrade to your A5. They are direct bolt on for A3/Q3 but not A4/A5.
You might want to try the brakes from Q5 3.0T, S4, or SQ5. I believe the disc size is 345mm. They perform better than TTRS brakes. I had tried both of them.
