Hey guys, noob here, I've been looking into getting a new set of coilovers, when I purchase my car it was already sitting on lowering springs (24.5" GTF Front, 25.5" GTF Rear) and the roads here in Ottawa suck.... Not to mention that we get fairly deep snow. So unlike most people who get coilovers to slam their cars, I'm trying to do the opposite. I need a set of coilovers that will allow me to sit the car at stock or higher ride height during the winter, and won't be too much harsher (I don't mind stiffer, just not back breaking stiff). So far I've been looking at the regular Vogtland coilovers which seem to be the most suited to my application while also being pretty cheap. Does anybody have input on coilover selection for these kind of road conditions? I'm also worried about getting zinc coated vs stainless steel as these will see long winters with very salty roads. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the parts list I am grabbing for the setup.
2x 71828 Monroe struts = 82
2x s6001 strange engineering coilover kits =142
1x QA1 14-300 coil over springs pair = 52
Total cost= 276

I missed this part but if the 14" springs are too much then I will buy some 12". They are pretty cheap.
