i just bought an 2002 audi a4 not too long ago and everythin was fine until i was standing at a light and pressed my brakes super hard... once i was tryna go, my car was locked. 20 minuts later it drove again. it been doin that ever since...itll drive lock up and then drive again. then the brakes started smelling... now the abs light came on, asr and the brake pad light. so its been sittin at the shop for a week now and they still dont know what it is, im tryin to get it to a forgein car shop but i was tryna se if anybody might know what it could be... everytime i do some research it says it might be the sensors, but idk..help please!!

Sensors would be less invasive to prevent you from driving the car. My guess is abs control module, but any diag is worth nothing without getting a read from the obd port. Check codes and report back.

so my uncle put the computer on and it said brake pressure sensor and wheel speed sensor and my brake pad light has come on. we drove the car back to my house from the shop, now the brake lights wont turn off, which i guess is the brake light switch...?! i have another way of transportation so i just put it in my back yard for now and unplugged the battery so it wont die from the light staying on...
