I've taken my shocks off of my '06 S4 recently to readjust the rebound damping (on Koni Yellow's). For the fourth shock (one of the front ones), I found the shock VERY hard to compress the first time. (Wanted to compress it to adjust the rebound damping). Subsequently it's equivalently easy to compress as the other 3 were. Is this normal? The only difference between the 4 shocks is that this latest one was off of the car (unloaded but still in the strut assembly) for 2 full days. Would 2 days uncompressed have made the initial compression so difficult? Is there something wrong with this shock? These shocks are only a few months old. Thanks.
