New owner Brake Light + Abs

Bought an a3 06 with the Brake light and abs light both on. The owner alluded that he "didnt change out the sensors" Are these the brake speed sensors that need changing?

Have you checked the fluid? I'd recommend getting a complete flush as well since you have no idea when it was last changed.

I would suggest getting it scanned. It could be a couple of things from the wheel speed sensors to the ABS module.

low brake fluid would only make the red brake light come on not the abs light. I know with the older ones if the red brake light came on with the abs light then the abs module was bad and needs replacement. Just get it scaned and let us know
