Finally got to dig into a 4.0T today

Nothing too serious, just had to replace the coolant pipes that run to and from the turbo. There's a lot of shit going on under the hood here but the picture doesn't really do it justice. But yeah, it was fun [:D]

nice...I just cant understand why audi or anyone would put an engine cover over such a beautiful piece of art

Most of the time engine covers are used for noise insulation... but in this case it's to keep the turbos from cooking the paint on the hood. I agree, it's a shame to cover it up.
