Been dealing with KW USA for about 2 months now trying to get a set of V3's refurbished and was initially told that they could beef up the springs a bit (by two separate employees). After sending the suspension off to them their "capabilities" all of a sudden changed and now they claim that they do not perform any other work except a factory spec refurb on V3's.
I just need to know if I'm being fed a load of crap and also if someone has a contact there that can be straight up with me? I cant understand why all of a sudden beefing up the springs is a problem when it wasn't just 2 months ago. The guy I talked to today said that its definitely possible, just something they don't do for anything other than their race suspension. When this same guy was asked about the cost for their "race suspension" he provided a "ballpark" of $6k-$15k which is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. If I gave my clients a ballpark that had a range of 2.5x the lower base I would get laughed at.
If KW wont upgrade the springs for me... does anyone know anyone that can/will? Thanks for any help regarding this kaka. I'm surprised its gotten to this with a company that large.
