Looking to refresh the suspension on my factory non-sport B6 A4. NOT looking for any lowering since I'm riding on stock 16s and don't have plans for new shoes anytime soon.

If cost were not an issue, i'd probably go OEM, but they're $800+ on ECS. I've seen some alternatives such as the Koni FSDs and Blistein HDs for much cheaper in the $500 range. I don't mind if the car rides a little stiffer with these shocks.

Could anyone with experience chime in on whether the Konis and Blisteins work with non-sport springs? How do they ride?

I'm kind of in a similar boat. I have the same car which came with the sport suspension. I had a set of H&R coilovers on the car but my wife started driving it and I felt it was a bit too much for the car with her driving it daily and us using it mainly with the kids. Anyway, I took the coilovers off and replaced them with a set of Neuspeed Sport springs and Koni FSD shocks. The car still rides ok, but now I miss the way it rode on the coils. The FSDs are a bit soft and travel too much for my taste. I'm not looking to spend the $$$$ on a set of coilovers at this time, but wondering how a set of Bilstein Sports or something similar would transform the ride. I'm really happy with the height its at so just thinking shocks for now. Any help appreciated.
