Hey guys,
I have a 2000 S4 running
tial 605 turbos
devils own meth kit,
AWE downpipes (catless)
Neuspeed catback
JHM front mount
eurodyne software.
Everytime the car gets under load it stutters really bad, it will still make 20psi+ boost but it shakes and stutters. It idles fine and going down the road under no load works fine. It almost sounds like a misfire.
So far i have replaced all the plugs with NGK BRK7E's put new o2 sensors in and cleaned the mass airflow sensor, There is no CEL up and so i dont think its a bad coil pack, and i've searched forums and have came up with nothing.
If anyone has any idea's anything would be helpful at this point!
Dont know if you still are trying to fix this, but it sounds like you might have a bad injector, or it could be a timing issue. Did VAGCOM come up with anything? If you did resolve it - what was it?

Still not fixed, I ran vagcom and it's not showing any misfires or codes. I have figured out that it's only happening when it gets warm though

U and I are having 100% the same exact problem... I'm getting ready to do my timing chains and beltgot do everything.. I ha r found out that the 2.7 can run even if the chain or belt has jump a tiny bit..... With the car try to correct it self .....The head and cams are out of sync which in turn gives u the misfire aka stutter Se sation.... just got do that repairing get similar problems on a gm

N75 valve. Had the same problem, vagcom showed bad n75. Replaced and it was fixed.

Check your fueling.do you have proper hiflow Fuel pump ? Correct 85/90MM Maf as well. R U running upgraded injectors. Also test/clean SAI system.

Idk about him but my car is a 2000.... doesn't have a sai system at all never did

Has this gone anywhere? Tryn to find similar problem on a friends car. And having no luck.
His car 01 a6 6 speed
2.0 liter coils
Rs6-rs turbos and all the supporting stuff can ad more info if needed
You can get on it a couple times through all the gears and it runs fine but after that it will stutter and act like it's misfiring/detonating under high boost in 3rd and up. And has no codes and no misfires in the counter. But if you unplug the maf it runs fine the entire time.
Boost tested multiple times with no leaks
Have tryd a known good maf
Good 02's
Good DV's
Good coils
Multiple sets of plugs
And had no difference
Any thoughts?

what type of spark plugs are you running??

I run a ngk.. plug... iriduim... can't remeber the part number there like 13.76 each tho lol... I can say this your mods and MI e are very similar I did a icm delet... and all my problems wentry away... if u want to pm me you email I send u the site to order the part individualy and u can't save a few bucks ...to do the swap or u can 9rder what u need a from a number of sites... to do it

Oh I also did a n80 delete via a resistor route of lines....

It looks like no one has mentioned this but what spark plug gap are you all running. If your still running stock coil packs then the gap needs to be under
.020 inch or you will blow the spark out at high boost. If you are running FSI/tsi coils them this doesn't apply because you can run up to .030 in gap with them.
2000 Nogaro S4 stage 2 K&N intake SSAC turbo back exhaust EVOMS DV's SB stage3 daily clutch 42lb injectors V8 FSI fuel pump. 91 and E85 personally tuned.

The problem: 2.7T massive misfires on cyl 3 (only). compression and leak down perfect. Fuel, spark, timing, plugs, injectors, etc. all good. Finally removed cam. Disassembled lifters. No obvious signs. But pushing down on valve retainer showed rear exhaust valve being much 'springier' (easier to push down) compared to other valves. Close reveals: broken spring:
