Hi guys! I hate to do this but I have to sell my C5 RS6. The car is in perfect condition. 9 out of 10. Completely stock except the stasis ohlins suspenstion(4k), the after market head unit for the rear back up camera. The car has 38k miles on it. I am asking 50k for the with two sets of wheels. The current wheels on her are 3 piece 10.5 inch wide wheels custom made to order. Or 42k with the factory rs6 wheels. The timing belt was done at 32k miles. So you are good there. This is most likely the nicest RS6 you will ever be able to buy in the US now. I drive her 30 miles a week. otherwise park her. I know I am asking a little bit more then most buT!!! it is most likely the lowest mileage rs6 in the U.S. If you don't have anything nice to say please keep it to yourself. Also CALI only car.

There's a Misano Red one with ~10k on it.

Yeah but the red one doesn't have three sets of bling, 3 inches of spacers, or 3 inches of coils cut off of each corner.

Damn I wish I had 50k to drop on that red one. And another 50k to spend on maint in the first year.

Awesome car, however.... honestly, I think it's priced about $12k high at best (I picked mine up last year with 24k miles (100% stock and kept in a year round conditioned garage) for $31,500. I don't see you getting more than that for this but I'm cheering for you since that'll raise all our RS6 values!

Sooo I love these cars. They are amazing looks, style , everything a RS big body sedan should be. I think you are shooting blanks on your price. Yes there is a ass for every seat but the misano red car mentioned above have been on the market at this price point for almost 5 months.

You want to sell it drop 20k off the price.

You might be best off to drive it and get 20k of fun out of it then sell it with 60k miles on it for 25-28k

GLWS. I sold mine 6 months ago with fresh timing belt and TC on 45k miles and a folder with every receipt from new. Had OCT tune, miltek exhaust, and Koni's. All that netted me 20k less than what you are asking...oh yeah and it took 4 months to find a buyer. I'm not saying you won't find a buyer too but be prepared to cut your price substantially if you're ready to sell it.

Either you added an extra zero and its actually an A6, or you are smoking crack.

Expensive wheels in an odd color and stance do not add 20-30k to the value of the car

They most certainly do not... Get rid of the wheels, throw on the stock ones, drop price to $28-$30k like mentioned above and wait for the bites... Be prepared to wait and be prepared for some low ballers but in the meantime enjoy the beast in the way that she was intended to be enjoyed... Put a few miles on that baby!

38k miles, but how many hours idling in the car show parking lot, bumping the bass?

Aaron, unfortunately the RS 6 does not hold value nearly as well as your 1M did. Your best bet is going to be to take off the wheels and sell them separately, and then list the car for $25-30k.

This and his B5 S4 widebody both have crackpot prices. Almost double what each car is worth.

What bank is going to give someone a $50k loan on an 11 yr old car worth $17-18k book value. Yes they look at that before they approve a loan. And not many people have $50k lying around to purchase a car. I guess my low mileage RS4 is worth 2-3 times the book value.

A very good friend of mine is the original owner of a '04 RS6 that has 31K on it. The car sits in a garage covered most of the time and just does not get driven so he is looking to sell and he asked me to do some research on what he could get for it. This was a few months back and there were a number of low mileage (less than 40K) RS6's for sale and I thought a good starting asking price was $36K with the expectations of getting $32-33K. With the exception of little curb rash and the need for a timing belt fairly shortly the car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor.....not a ding, scratch, or blemish on it. $50K is just too much.....

Cheers,
Jim

Out of touch with reality.

sell all the goodies separately.

maybe $35k would have a buyer interested. great looking car tho! GLWS

x2

Why force someone to take those expensive wheels with the car, when you have a stock set that you can throw on and sell the 3pc ones separately?

They should fit other cars to, so it shouldnt be that hard a sale. If you sell them with the car, you are more or less going to end up including them for free.
