Hi guys,
I had my ABS module and pump swapped out due to a faulty ABS pump that I had.
My mechanic bleeded the system with a pneumatic pump. So, after the bleeding was done the ABS&Traction&Brake Light was still on.
So, I went to a shop who had VAGCOM since my mechanic didn't have one. They had to reprogram ABS module and re-calibrate the speed sensor angle.
All the lights went away except the BRAKE light keeps flashing. I do have an Adaptive headlight error and a light sensor error.
The mechanic with the VAGCOM said it could be the light sensor triggering the flashing BRAKE light, but I do not agree since that error has been there since long which I never bothered.
Since it came after the abs and pump swap I believe it has to do something with that, also brake fluid level are OK and brakes seem fine.
IT should be noted that the ABS module and pump had the same part number but the replacement one ended with an "N" instead of an "L"
Really puzzled with this dilemma, your help would be appreciated!
