I drive a 2012 S4
After spending time searching thru old posts I am pretty sure that I will be replacing my stock rotors and pads with the StopTech slotted rotors (OEM size) and Performance Brake Pads (309) along with SS lines and Motul 600.
Does anyone running this setup not like the feel of theses pads on the street? Are they noisy, dusty, too much bite, do they need to warm up before they feel right? Or are they just fine for street use?
How is the setup on the track?
Someone told me that I should get StopTech Posi Quiet street pads (104) for daily driving and swap in Performance street pads (309) for the track days, but it would be nice if I didn't have to swap pads every couple months.
I live in a warm and sunny climate, so rain and freezing temperatures are not a major concern.
I don't want to go with the big brake kit since there is a possibility that I will be selling my car within the next 18 months and can't justify spending $2500-$4000 for 6-8 track events.
Thank you to anyone that can help me with this decision.
