Lowering after an alignment

I just had an alignment not too long ago, but I got different wheels and now I want to lower it another 0.5" to get the stance right. Will the difference be negligible, or will lowering another 0.5" have a noticeable effect on my tires/alignment. I know if I take the suspension apart, an alignment is necessary, but is it necessary after slightly adjusting the height on my coilovers?

No, .5" will not have a large enough effect on it to merit doing an alignment again.
