Why does my post number not go up?

I have posted here for a while and noticed that it doesn't seam to be going up in count.

only goes up when you post under the "meaningful forums" i.e. B6 A4, B5 A4, S4/RS4..... you get the picture....

Post count doesnt climb when u post in GCC or regional ect.

Thats wierd, why would they do that... I mostly spend my time in the regional forums...... a post is a post. Thanks though!!

cause people post BS posts just to get thier post counts up and get thier rings..... There would be a lot more crap laying around if there wasnt a limited post count...... for example...my post count would be in the 5 million range right now if GCC counted...

the old version of AZ didnt limit the post count and it got outa control so when AZ 2.0 started they decided to make it only count in the specific car forums......

Yes, what HazeJz36 said. The Off Topic sections don't count for obvious reasons, and Regional because a lot of the discussion in there is OT as well. We prefer to keep those sections open for that kind of stuff and don't feel the posts necessarily warrant being added to the counter. The counter shouldn't matter anyway, it's just a number and people use it for evil more than good in most cases. The overall time with a community is what truly matters, and quality over quantity.
