Well, with winter coming up I'd like to get a set of rubber floor mats for the S4. I did a bit of looking around last year and was going to buy a set of the Weathertech Digital Fit ones, which are the complete floor liners that actually go up the sides of the carpet too. Well, after checking again it appears they don't make them anymore. All they have is a universal set of rubber floor mats. Seems like the only fitted set of floor mats that are rubber for our cars would be the OEM Monster mats. Also, I looked around on the trunk mat as well. Weathertech shows one that's supposed to be rubber and custom fit, but from my guess it's not going to be the exact fit for our cars. What might my options be as far as a cargo liner and some all-weather floor mats?

I had some Weathertech's before but they always kept sliding forward and bunching up underneath the pedals...Not safe. I doubt they were "car specific."
I currently have OEM with the audi sport logo. They aren't as confortable to drive bare foot in (which I do a lot) but they lock in place and keep the dirt and mud out of the carpet. I bought mine on Ebay for $90 shipped...You could probably find a better price or just get a used set.

OEM monster mats FTW. Also OEM rubber rear cargo mat if you can find one, IIRC they are being dumped by Audi.

Going to go with the B5 OEM Monster Mats with the Sport logo then. Seems like the best option. WeatherTech doesn't make a custom fit for the car and nobody else does from what I see.
As far as the trunk mat goes, ZA-380-201 is the carpeted one with the cargo blocks and a Sport logo. That's the only one made for our cars. There doesn't appear to be a "rubber" trunk mat for our cars, but there looks to be a "foam-rubber" one made by Audi. WeatherTech shows a trunk mat for the B5, but I have a feeling it won't be custom fit and will just be universal fit like all their other products for the B5.
Gonna check at work tomorrow for these things.

Yea, I've seen those are a decent fit for the B5 but definitely not perfect. I was thinking tomorrow of checking out how close a trunk liner might be from the A4. The A6 will be a completely different size.

I'm going to order the OEM Monster Mats with the Sport Logo for my car. I still don't see anywhere else that makes a custom fit floor mat for our cars, all of them are universal and the biggest kicker is that they don't have the clips, which is really gay. Seems like the best option is still the OEM Monster Mats. Anyone else done anything different?

For sure not the floor mats on the B5. I bought a set of their "custom fit" floor mats for my ex's 97 Civic and they were universal ones you had to trim. When I looked them up for the B5 it showed the same exact floor mats.

I think I may end up ordering that A4 avant carpeted mat. Yet to see any company that makes a custom fit one, plus I could probably make good use out of those blocks. It still looks pretty decent in the sedan too, just a small bit of non-coverage it seems.

Kind of curious about these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-2002-Audi-S4-Floor-Mats-5-Pcs-Front-Rear-Trunk-Custom-Rubber-Mats-/290614929284?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2001|Model%3AS4&vxp=mtr&hash=item43a9ffe784#ht_4701wt_990
Says they're perfect fit and says the trunk mat matches. They don't look near as cool as the OEM Monster mats, but they'll provide more protection. Sent them an e-mail. Also:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audi-Cargo-Liner-Custom-Fit-Cargo-Mat-/280704919188?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2001|Model%3AS4&vxp=mtr&hash=item415b512694#ht_1691wt_1185
From what WeatherTech says the trunk mat is supposed to be a perfect fit as well. Thing is though between the OEM Monster mats and WeatherTech trunk mat it would be like 300 dollars, whereas that one company says like 150. The OEM Monster Mats just look so much more legitimate though and that WeatherTech trunk mat would look extremely nice too.

They do when you open the left side hole a bit to match the floor of the B5. Sad part is that they read "A4".

Yea, that's my other problem. Putting stuff that says A4 in the car looks a little tacky. I'm willing to just spend the money on Monster Mats or something else. I tried C5 A6 mats as well, they fit about the same as the B6 mats.

Yea, thought about that as well.
Gonna pass on those custom fit ones I found on eBay. Even though they're like 180 shipped for the complete setup, they just don't fit the car at all. Plus, IMO, they wouldn't be nearly as grippy as the OEM Monster mats, nor would they look near as good. Still leaning towards the OEM Monster Mats on this one.
As far as the trunk mat goes its down to the WeatherTech one or the A4 Avant mat. The Weathertech one will have better fit, but the A4 Avant one will have cargo blocks, but it's like 1/8th the cost. Tough choices...

Bumping this.
Gonna go with the OEM sport logo mats. After looking through numerous websites for a "custom fit" floor mat there's nothing I've found that really compares to the OEM Monster Mats. There's some nice setups out there that fill the complete floor and up the sides but the issue is that they look pretty cheesy because they have no "design" to them like the WeatherTech Digital Fit ones do. Most of them are just plain rubber or they have some sort of "holes," but nothing that really compliments the interior at all.
As far as the trunk mat goes it's kind of the same story. I've seen a bunch of aftermarket ones that fit the trunk, but they're either incredibly plain or have no picture ot show any fitment. Sadly, it's the same story for the WeatherTech one. They promise a custom fit mat but no pictures to show anything, plus it's 150 bones. Also, the OEM sedan cargo mats have been sold out for some time now and all that's left is the A4 avant one, which is the one I'll be going with from the looks of it. I rather like the idea of the cargo blocks over a plain rubber mat as well.

I use the OEM rubber mats w/the Audi Sport logo and love them. My only complaint is that in warm weather I frequently wear flipflops and drive barefoot, and they totally kill my heels after an extended period. When I moved across the country, it got to the point that I would flip my sandal around and rest my heel on the back of it with its toe area pointing toward my seat, had to do it because the skin on my heel started cracking.
I wish there was a matching mat for the trunk, right now I just use the basic carpet with no mat/liner on top of it:(

Also, I ended up going with the A4 avant trunk liner and I'm very glad I did. Already used the cargo block "pockets" a few times to keep things from rolling around in the trunk. For 13 dollars I'd highly recommend it:
