When I start the car there are 3 beeps that sounds like its coming from the speakers. Happens every time recently.

I have the same thing happening, not every time though, seems random. What in the alarm system would need charging?

The alarm system has two NiMH rechargeable batteries that get charged whenever the car is running. You can learn a little more about the alarm in this thread Clicky click (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/306320-Alarm-Beep-Stop-Working-DIY-Fix-amp-Some-Pics). When they get low you will hear the three chirps on start up. If the batteries die completely the chirp will stop. There really isn't much you can do but replace the horn unit or cut it open and replace the batteries. For what its worth, mine started chirping three or four years ago. It lasted about a week and has worked fine ever since.

I have a bose system. I'll sit on this for about 2 weeks and if it keeps up i'll look into replacing the batteries. thanks all.

You can ignore it unless it means a lot to you that, if a thief disconnects the battery, your alarm system will still sound. With the little rechargeable batteries dead, no self-contained power.

If You disconnect the Bose Audiopilot Mic that is located in the cablight/sun roof control panel, you will get 3 soft beeps from the radio/amp to tell you the mic is not working/missing/disconnected.

Bose doesn't matter one way or the other. The chirp is coming from the central locking horn, not the speakers.

Thanks for the info! I did not know that. If the locking horn battery is low it makes the same chirping sound that you hear when you lock the car. So if the sound is a beep through the speakers it isn't the locking horn, but rather what you just described. I just erroneously assumed nananana4k was referring to the typical three chirps you get from the locking horn.
Cheers!

This just started happening in my car yesterday. Also realized that my key fob isn’t working to unlock or lock the car. Could it just be telling me the batteries in the key fob are dead? Thanks in advance
