Question for you Pete:
The sound clip you guys have, is under full throttle, yes? Does this still give a sleeper type car appeal, where you don't have to constantly hear the charger whine in everyday driving, and it only comes alive under hard acceleration, or is it pretty consistant through the entire rev range?
Obviously the charger spins faster the higher the RPM, since it's mechanical and belt driven, I'm just curious how obtrusive the noise is under 50% of redline I guess.

>>>It's louder under more throttle. There's nothing obnoxious going on. Stock is obnoxious. Doesn't bother the "family" so I think it's safe for everyone. Fun for you.

By the way, check out Strat's dyno graph of the S4 B8 - looks like less than 290 WHP - at the WHEELS!
Looks like more "oil into the fire" - to discuss at the thread about APR's stock S4 B8 dyno test!

I think you will see more videos and such from us soon. If you are reading this and want a hook-up on an intake PM me or write me at
[email protected]. Hoping to do a combo vid with the new Milltek non-resonated catback. Pete, Stratmosphere

My thoughts as well; it's one of the first so that isn't surprising, but 400+ bux for an intake is pretty ridiculous. I'd rather use that towards some other modifications.

100% acceptance.
I had the K&N air intake filter in my car. The only thing that improved was the consumption! [:D]
My S took about 3 litres mor than without. [;)]
The sound of that hyperflow intake seems to be very poor too..
Sorry, just my two cents..

Well, hopefully someone that has a car and the intake will get some actual impressions up on the forum soon. It's a must have. You will see.

You know whats great about intakes? You can build one for about $100. It may not look as good as a production unit, but it will work the same. I built one for my 2006 hemi jeep grand cherokee out of PVC pipe. All i had to do was paint it black. I raced with it on, and it never got hot.
