I've always had great success with the infinity reference speakers. They are 2 ohm, so they should be compatible with the Bose amp right? Any reason I shouldn't do it?

if you have the bose system, then yes, you want to use a 2 ohm speaker. i can vouch that you'll really like those references...

Infinitys are great speakers. It should sound ok with the stock bose amp. However if you want to keep your stock radio (I think I remember you having rns-e from your build thread)and you want a great system, I'd go with something like a jl cleansweep or audio control processor to allow you to really fine tune the system and have it hooked up properly to a 4 channel amp. That way you can get the performance and adjustability of an aftermarket radio but you can still utilize your oem radio.

You'll be fine dude, one small coveat is that the infinitys can handle much more power then OEM (obviously), and will have a bigger motor structure...thus, you may see a little less mid-bass response out of them. and when you finally do switch over to an aftermarket amplifier, even a "little" guy (25x4) should give you some good volume since you'll be running it at 2ohm. Also, be sure to use the passive xover that comes with the set. The wiring in the doors is pretty user-friendly, and will let you do this quite easily. [wrench]
