Ordered in August and just picked it up. It drives great.

wooow very nice, i usually dislike s4's in silver (or gray) because it kind of kills the mirrors but this one looks great, loving the color with the red interior contrast very nice

that's such a classy low-key colour...those seats don't really match the understated elegance of the exterior. Rather, they kick it right in the balls and shout 'GETOUTTAMYWAY'!
Cool car. Does it feel faster than your coxster?

CaymanS4 very nice car. Just one question. This is a prestige not a premium + correct? From the interior pics can see the memory seats only available in the prestige pkg.

Yes, you really feel the low end torque kick in, but the car feels very smooth and refined.

In Canada, the package is called Premium which gives you 19" alloys, Silk Nappa, Rear Parking Sensors, Adaptive Headlights, Homelink, Side Assist, and Advanced Key.
Memory seats are standard on the base S4.

STronic sometimes doesn't seem as smooth in 1st & 2nd gear compared to gears 3-7. You can feel the clutch start to grab like you're letting the clutch out in 1st on a stick shift.
The 2nd day driving it, I was stopped on a slight incline and started making a right turn. I gave a bit of gas and the car didn't really move forward much, so I gave some more gas and next thing you know, it's like popping the clutch and the car flew.
When downshifting, I usually shift down 2 gears (eg. 4th to 2nd) because of the 7 gears, the ratios are so close together, you don't get any engine breaking gearing down 1 gear.
I'm more used to the STronic now.

Very interesting. I recently had the mechatronic replaced, and it now behaves exactly as you mention in 1st gear. Before the replacement, the transition while driving off from a standstill was more smooth. Now it seems to hang for a while, then pop into 1st gear. I have noticed that when taking off WOT it seems much more aggressive (with the new mechatronic). Wonder if it's an upgraded component (with new software) or just a simple replacement - time will tell.
