Introducing my adaptation of APR's newest entry to the Koni Challenge Series

Unfortunately they don't have the S4, so I went with the S5 instead (but added an aftermarket supercharger to make it even). Entire paint job took about 7+ hours, since many of the logos did not come in Forza and had to be custom made. Obviously there were some limitations in Forza's design interface, but I think I got a pretty good overall match.
Can't wait to see how APR does next season, best of luck! [race]

thank you not work safe 4guy. [:D]
I knew it was a video game...but that looked waaaaay too real at first. Impressive as hell.
What's better...Forza or GT? I know it's platform based so it's like saying what's better...BMW or Audi...you'll get fans of each game arguing for the one they own. Just wondering for those who have played both.

Forza... was 50% of the reasons i got an xbox 360 over ps3. Physics are so much better(GT understeers like a bitch), better cars, more to do to the cars and better graphics :) (although i think the ps3 has better graphics)
and btw i was a die hard gt4 fan

SKILLS!
I want Forza 3 so badly - the fact that I actually had to compare the real pic to the forza pic three times before noticing which was the real one pretty much makes the game sell itself.

Great work! Does anyone know if the G25 Logitech wheel works with the Xbox and Forza3? I have it setup with my PS3, and love it.

damn dude that must have taken forever. Took me 15 minutes just to black out my roof properly...
how the hell did you get the curves on the door and around the front wheel well? I never saw an easy way to bend the graphics they provide...

I just used a lot of small shapes that overlap to make a smooth, continuous shape. So by manipulating circles and edges overlapped with rectangles you can pretty much make anything.

Article -
Tracking the Audi name game is like playing Clue or a twisted game of automotive charades. It all starts with August Horch. He started Horch Automobile in 1899 and the company was taken over. His new company could not be named Horch. Horch means ‘hear’ in German and somewhere along the line the Latin translation of ‘audible’ was shortened to Audi and the company opened its door in 1909.
The Auto Union chapter of the company’s history started in 1932 when Audi, Horch, DKW and Wanderer automotive companies joined forces. Each company is represented by one of the rings in the Audi emblem. After brutal bombing during WWII the remaining remnants of the company were expropriated by the Soviet Union. However, the Audi name was brought back in 1949 and the company was eventually acquired by VW in 1964. Audi came to America in 1970. In 1980 the Quattro all-wheel drive system was developed, and Audi won WRC driver’s championships in ’83 and ‘84 to seal the deal on the badge’s performance credentials.
The ‘S’ designation means big performance for Audi fanatics. S models come with standard Quattro all-wheel drive, pumped up engines, big brakes and sport tuned suspensions as well as unique interior and exterior styling cues compared to its ‘A’ designated siblings. With its penchant for poshness in recent editions some people say the ‘S’ in the S4 has stood more for Style than performance. For 2010 the ‘S’ stands for Scintillating.
The 2010 edition pounds the pavement with a direct-injection supercharged V6 in place of turbo V6 and V8 offerings found in previous S4s. The 3.0-liter blown V6 pumps out 333 horsepower. The new powertrain is only 11 horses shy of the V8 but provides a 23 lbs-ft gain in torque, enhancing the sedan’s low-end grunt and overall drivability. Shifting can be accomplished with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The latter delivering quicker acceleration and improved fuel economy, 27 percent better than the previous S4.
One of the car’s big draws is the toasability of its Quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi has taken a different tack with the system in the 2010 S4. Torque split is more rear-wheel-drive biased at 40/60. The car’s new sport differential can alter the amount of power directed to each of the rear wheels independently which will help the car rotate better and combat understeer.
In Forza Motorsport 3 the S4 is a prime destination for drivers and tuners. The car offers a lot of bang for the buck in stock form and its performance potential is nearly limitless. By bumping displacement, adding boost, grippy tires and serious suspension mods the S4 can be transformed into a fearsome Autobahn Blaster.

agkellyboy,
Jalopnik just posted that a DLC came out today for Forza 3 that includes the 2010 S4. Now you can create the actual APR S4, instead of having to use the S5. [up]

And BTW, I was one of your many downloads on the APR S5 and look forward to the S4 version. Thanks for your time, talent, and effort.
