Can it? Do you have to crack it or something?

Any info is appreciated, I would like to be able to watch legit DVD movies on it.

What can I do?

The dvd built-into the rns-e won't play dvd movies. If you want to watch video on your rns-e, look into kufatec.com and the ima basic or ima basic-plus. It will allow you to add-on an aftermarket dvd player, or other video device.
