Hey guys/gals I just got a new to me 2000 A4 B5. Looking for a little help in the sound department. The front right speaker rattles a little bit with some bass so I was wondering how to access it and check it out. I am thinking the cone is torn. But my main question is in the trunk, on the drivers side, there is a metal cage that is supposed to be up around the speaker, but it is hanging there by the connector. The two other wires, green and black are ripped off. I think I read somewhere that this is an amp or something, what I would like to know is where the two wires go so I can solder them back on and how to get the metal frame to stay up there.

Thanks!

For the front speaker its pretty easy to get at you just have to take the door card off. It should be about 5 phillips screws and then you just have to finess it out. just takes some common sense and understanding. I'm sure there's a diy on how to take the door card off. If I find it i'll post it here for you.

Good luck with it, hopefully it's not like when I did it and found out the stereo guys only put in one non stock screw to hold in my speaker and now it's just dangling because the screw tore the plastic [headbang]
