Very Poor Radio Reception?

Hello all, was wondering if someone here could help me with this. About a month ago, i noticed the reception on my stock Bose system radio began to deterriorate. Now, its so bad I cant listen to it. A couple of stations come in fuzzy, and most dont come in at all. Hope someone here can help...thanks in advance.

BTW my car is an 05 S4 Cabriolet.

on the sedans there is an antenna booster/amp near the rear window. Not sure if the cabriolets have the same setup. It sounds like it may have failed (if nothing else has changed).

It is powered by the factory HU... 12v on the center pin...
