Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 question:

When I add the 245/40 18" LM-60 to my tirerack cart and checkout I get the following message:

The following tire you have selected has a higher load rating than the vehicle's Original Equipment (O.E.) tires. This typically results in increased ride harshness, which some customers may find undesirable.

THE QUESTION: Will a 93 (O.E. Summers) vs. a 97 (Blizzak Winters) load rating be that noticeable? Will I need a 200 pounder riding shotgun to smooth it out? Any of you using these tires now...how's she ride?

I can't answer your question specifically, but I wanted to chime in and say that when you ask for OEM snow tires on tire rack for the B6/B7, it does not offer up the LM-60's because I believe it considers the speed rating too low.

Weird.

When I called Tire Rack, they said "no big deal, you can put those on and not have any problem."

As for the load rating...??? Hopefully someone else will chime in.
