Got my new wheels put on yesterday. What do you think?

Formula 1 Ceramic Tint - 35% all around
DPE Monoblock ST7 Wheels - Custom Charcoal Gray
Up next:
Coilovers
Reduced-dust brake pads
VAG mods

looks good [up] i like. definitely lower it though then it will look sooooo nice

Nice. I think if you painted the window trim and mirror caps a matching gunmetal it would look amazing.

I am sure most will disagree with me, but not feeling it. Think the wheels look too small and the tires look so beefy. I do like this finish though.

very nice - i like the darker wheels in general and your color is unique. could you give specs on the wheels when you get a chance

I love the S4, but not feeling the new wheels. I think it would look better if all the chrome was blacked out.

I think some of that will be resolved when the car is lowered.

I'd definitely like to change the trim color. Maybe I can get it dipped in that dark gray/gunmetal chrome stuff.. Anyone have experience with this or know what it's called and/or where to get it done?

Black chrome wheels are just chrome ones painted in a translucent smoke colour. The grill on my 2006 fx45 was black chrome, mind you it started to peel after 2 years. Looks very nice when new though.
Personally I never like black wheels so I would rather see those in normal "aluminium" colour. Nice quartz grey though. I think this may be the first S4 that I've seen in that colour.

I used to love the black rims with the chrome lip, but now hate that look. These look good, it will look sexy with a drop, those tires are beefy and I like them, less to worry about.
Are those the stock tires? did you just move them over?

Yep, stock tires. I live in the city where there are lots of bumps so I wouldn't go with any less rubber.

I will be following this thread closely as it gets closer to my delivery of my quartz S4 =). I won't be modding mine much if at all. I will definitely be looking for the following:
1. Tint
2. Coils
3. ECU

Yay!!!! Tasteful mods! Looks good man. The drop with the coilovers will really set it off. And you wouldn't be a true Audi man if you didn't play around with VAG a bit ;-)

p.s. Lowering is not a MUST.
it looks pretty low as is. maybe the front could use a .5-1 inch drop
