About 40% of the time, when I answer a call through the MMI, the stereo continues playing over the car speakers. So I have to quickly pick up my iphone, switch the audio source from Audi back to iPhone, then to Audi again, then the music stops and the call comes onto the car speakers and hopefully the person hasn't hung up on me yet.
Anyone else have this problem? I've had it with two different iPhones. Never happened to me on the 2G MMI in the S6.
Hopefully just a software bug that will be fixed with an update soon.

I haven't been able to answer a call yet with my iPhone. It's the exact same issue you've described. What model/software are you running on your phone? I have a 3G on 3.0 (unlocked)

Just upgraded to 3.1... issue still exists. Very annoying.

Does anyone know if this issue is limited to Iphones or if it is affecting other phones/smart phones as well?

A buddy of mine has an A5 and a non-iphone and doesnt have issues. I think its an iPhone issue.

I had the problem on an iPhone 3G running v3.1 and now I got a new iPhone 3G which still has v3.0.1, same problem.

iPhones are iffy...lots of bluetooth problems with all manufacturers. Google the subject...you'll find threads like this on every major car forum.
BlackBerry had a problem with the new Bold connecting/disconnecting, but the updated BB 4.6....282 software appears to have fixed it.
Raise the issue to Apple directly...they're the only ones who will fix the problem.
