Hey guys we need a local b8 s4/a4 or a5/s5 owner to stop by so we can get some measurements off of their shifter box to complete our new b8 line of solid throw shifters. We are located in northern california just south of stockton.

- First visit we just need measurements from the shifter box.

- Second visit for installing the final prototype.

- Third visit video for install video and/or any possible adjustment.

This will probably take place over a couple months, we just need to get the first visit out of the way.

For the first volunteer to get down here will get the shifter plus install done for free.

Here is a picture of our shifter just in case you guys have not heard of us:

So you know, the manual trans S4 already has a surprisingly short throw...although it's probably not as bulletproof as your guy's setups. [drive]

Agreed Anthony... HOWEVER, it can always be shorter, and most importantly (I think) in the case of the B8 S4, lower! Don't know why Audi has to make the shifter so damn high?! Jeez... Can't wait for the JHM shifter to come out... probably my favorite mod in my B7 A4.

I'd be more than happy to help out, but I just recently placed an order, and my car won't be here until January at some point. Good luck finding a volunteer, if for some reason you guys don't find anyone til then, I'll get in touch w/ you. I'm located in SF.
