Was recommended 10mm in front and 12mm in rear. Will this balance it out enough or should I go less thick in the front? With the current recs it seems like the front might stick out too much.

If you go to H&R site you can see an A4 b8 with spacers. I think the 10mm works for the 19s due to the 43et and 8.5 width. However on the 18x8s et 47 the 15 front 20 rear would look best i'd say. the 20s bolt to the hub and are vibration free. the 10s can be a tuff go as it sits on the hub and leaves no room for a decent hubcentric part. 15 front 20 back has been done many times for 18s. this link shows 20mm front 25mm rear, on an a4

I haven't found 10 or 12mm spacers for our cars anywhere.

that 20 25 set up doesn't look good at. At least not with those wheels. looks like a tractor.

Make sure they know you have a B8 because those are listed as 57.1mm centerbore for older Audis and won't work on our cars.

defininitely. The selection for the b8 is sparse compared to the old size bore. That link is to the wrong size. As for 10 and 12 mm they are notorious for working poorly. The 5 works well, and the 15s. If you end up with vibrations, it is the spacer. Try a search for 10mm spacers for audi a4s to view the issues.

it is the ride hieght mostly that is funny looking. That one may not even have sport suspension. Likely full ride hieght. (going by that rim)

We have done 15mm on A5's and they look perfect also a B8 Avant and was perfect. That's 15mm all

You can't simply assume that because you put 15mm spacers on 2 different cars that they will automatically work on the S4.

I will try a set on the new S4 when I get a chance. Hopefully today.

5mm for the 19s, and 15 for the 18s is the way I'd go as well.

Hey L0U, are you positive about the specs of the S4 18's? I know those are the specs for the A4 18's but not sure about the S4.

well not 100%. I am assuming 8x18 et47. the originatoe should verify for all of us what the spec is on the inside of the wheel. besides op posted in both a4 and s4 forum....which car is it would help too.

it is. the b8 a4 is 66.6 bore with a different offset. I was referring to a b8 a4. I believe the s4 has the identical space to deal with for fitment as the newest A4.
