We were told two weeks ago that our S4 was on the ship and would be here in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we checked and were told the ship has not docked. We receive an email today saying that the car will not be here for at least 2 more weeks. Something about the A4s and something else has to be unloaded first. We ordered our car back in May. We were also told that we are suppose to recieve the first metor gray S4 in the US. Not sure how accurate this is. Just wondering if anyone else is having this the same luck. Not sure it is worth this wait.

Traveling across the Atlantic this time of year is always subject to weather. There were a couple hurricanes in the last 2 weeks that missed the US, but went up the east coast and then back toward Europe. That will slow the ships down either making them wait or go around. Remember, the ships do about 20-30 knotts. Also, once it gets to port, its 2-3 days to unload a ship of cars, much slower than a container ship. Somewhere in there is customs which is a random number of days (between 1 and 10 if you are unlucky). Then they have to truck the car to your dealer which is a few more days depending on where you are.

It will be worth the wait though, so just sit back and think of the good times you are about to have!

Sorry, not correct. I took delivery of my meteor gray S4 on August 25th. Good luck, you won't be disappointed...

Just go down to the dealer and stand behind them when they are in the Audi system. All the details and milestones will be there for you to see. What is true, and what isn't. Is there a car? Is it held up? etc.
