So the previous owner installed a pioneer headunit, but CUT the wire harness off. So everything is connected using the wire to wire plugs (i forget what they are called). the headunit now has rear out (for a sub) and an aux 3.5mm jack in on the front.

now im looking at replacement headunit under 200 with 3 pre outs (one being sub out), built in ipod connection/control, SINGLE din, and to look semi decent in my b5 a4

i was thinking about going flip out but i decided that i didnt want to spend that much and i didnt want it to interfere with my boost gauge.

so here are the choices that i have come up with..

1. alpine cda-105 http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Photos/Default.aspx?i=500CDA105&tp=5684

2. pioneer DEH-P770MP http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-DEH-P770MP-Premier-Receiver-Display/dp/B0009MHKES

3. Clarion FZ409 (but no cd player) http://www.crutchfield.com/p_020FZ409/Clarion-FZ409.html?showAll=Y&tp=5684&avf=N&tab=detailed_info

i have already replaced the front speakers with components and the back deck speaker. i also have an infinity basslink in the trunk.

i was thinking about a flip up nav, but id rather just get a regular headunit that does what i need it to do and a portable gps.

im kind of leaning toward the 1st one because i feel that it would match the best. but im looking for some other suggestions...
what do you think?
