B7 Mods compatibility, anyone check it out??

Just curious if anyone has checked the specs of the B8 in the way of parts being retrofitted from the B7's? I have been looking, since my lease is up soon, and started thinking if my BBK, Wheels, Suspension(I doubt) would fit the B8 S4. I haven't been to a dealer yet, mostly have been searching online. I know that the car is a complete re-design, but are the brake specs the same (I have seen the re-location of the rear caliper)? Wheel offsets? I am trying to decide between an A6 3.0T & S4 or wait for the S5 Sportback (I still have a few months). I think of all the $$$ that I wasted, and would rather keep using this stuff than sell it for next to nothing. TIA

Wheels definitely won't fit. Different bolt pattern and offset.

I don't know about the brakes or the suspension bits but I haven't seen any threads yet of people that have successfully swapped anything. They either sell their B7 with the parts on it or part out the bits separately.

It seems you are SOL. Wheels now require a larger center bore, brakes are different, and suspension has been re-designed. I haven't seen anyone successfully use anything from their B7 on the B8 except their keychain.
