Sweet, you found a great one! The PB at Stevens Creek didn't have Prestige, CF, or the Sport Rear Diff which are almost all gotta-haves!

how are the two cars compared to each other? s4 reign supreme over a4? any a4 features that are better than the s4?

The seats are super nice. I love the seats and basically that's the only differences I see between the a4 and the s4. I did not have prestige on my a4 and I think the prestige with the black headliner makes the interior looks so much better especially with the CF inlays and Alcantara seats. The handling with the Sport differential is amazing. I did not feel any different when i test drove the car, but I sure did after I purchased. Anyway, you should wait for Anthony's write up on the S4s.

thanks for the info![:)]i was thinking that i would go with the m3, but after the stellar reviews of the s4 and the aftermarket support that says they can squeez 400+ out of this car, i am going to go with the s4 barring the wrx sti does not get in the way![wrench]

That really depends on your tire choice. The part he left out was that he was considering 245/30/20, which would have given him an extra 5mm per side to play with. 9.5" ET45 has already been done successfully with 255's, so I don't see any reason why 9.5" ET40 with 245's wouldn't work. Now, who's gonna step up and be the guinea pig?[evilsmile]

I was going to wait and order but decided to get this instead. This car is exactly how I wanted accept it is not brilliant black. At first, the sturbon dealer won't give me any discount and tried to sell it 2k over msrp. I was about to order one from rector but then they called. They offered me 500 off msrp but I asked them for Audi care instead of 500 off.
I know I can save more by waiting, but 3-4 it just too long for me. I rather 1500 more than waiting. I am glad I mad this decision and I'm loving it.

by chance, have you driven both the auto and the stick? any preference between the two transmissions?

They had the auto there but I did not try it. I didnt try it since I knew I wont be buying the auto s4, however I heard great thing about it!

I hate those front colored sidelights, the Euro clear side lights are awe inspiring and they are mounted on the inside of the light as opposed to the outside here, you will need to get rid of those orange beacons from either side and replace with a Euro clear side lights am sure you have seen them.
i don't have an S4 but just an A4, but am going to migrate to RS5 or R8 5.2 i don't think you get it RS5 in North America any soon, anyway good luck with your S4!
