I intend on building a fiberglas enclosure into my rear side compartment in my Avant '04. In the interim, I was wondering if the Bose amp has enough current capability or power to run (1) JL Audio 10w6 in a prefab box, or will this eventually cause a problem within the Bose circuitry?

Intend on doing a separate amp soon enough, but my ADD keeps kicking in. I'll have to hit it on an impulsive cycle.

It will not be enough power for that subwoofer or really any aftermarket sub for that matter. If you are keeping the stock radio you can use the sub outputs on the Bose amp for your Lineout converter.

Intuitively, I should've known that. Thanks.

Won't do any harm. It will just distort earlier than you like. A speaker can't draw more current than the amplifier can provide, so it won't hurt anything. Just watch your volume because distortion does kill speakers and distortion on subs is hard to hear.
