first, let me say that i get almost all my questions answered here. this site is sweet! [up] now the problem. i just finished hooking up 2 10" infinty subs and a sony amp. i tapped into the stock amp for high level(speaker) inputs. the amp has auto detect for turning on. after i hooked it all up, came that moment of truth. when your like thinking... everything is all hooked up right? then powered up and sweet! got some better low end! then i started up car and the stock amp stopped working, which therefore caused the sony amp not to work. i say this because stock amp runs the rear speakers. turned off car and still no sound. i unplugged and metered the connection and there is juice flowing...i hooked it back up then it started to work again. then it stopped working [confused] any ideas? i think it has something to do with stock amp but not sure...thanks fellas [up]......i have some pics .... well they are supposed to be here? you can look in my gallery http://www.audizine.com/gallery/data/500/IMG_0481.JPGhttp://www.audizine.com/gallery/data/500/IMG_0485.JPG

I am not 100% sure i know exactly how you hooked this up but ill take a swing at it. First off did you run a bigger power wire from the battery or did you tap into the stock amp power supply? If you tapped into the stock amp power supply then i can guarantee that that wire is no way nearly big enough of a wire to run another amp and two 10" subs probably at full power. It is deff causing an overload in the system.

Again this is just assuming i had the way you set it up correct

yeah, i have 8ga. 50a fused power wire from battery. i didn't have patience to use speaker to rca converter. so i tapped the amp harness for signals and remote. still i get intermittent power. i vagged unit and have a open remote circuit? any ideas? ground is solid...just no power/turn on to new amp or stock ....thanks in advance....
