I just bought a floor model pioneer avh-p4000dvd and just realized there is no trim ring [headbang]. I see that people use the pioneer adt-va133 install kit. Does anyone know if the trim ring from this will fit mine. Or does anyone know where I can get one. Thanks

bump...
FYI - I installed the P3100DVD and needed the kit you mentioned in your original post and it worked like a charm.

Yes you would need this http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/METRA_99_9102.html
The Pioneer Cage is not needed if you use this kit since it comes with side plates that you can bolt the radio into.

Mike, you are correct about the dash kit, but I'm pretty sure he will need the Pioneer ADT-VA133 double din install kit to trim out and secure that HU. The AVH-P4000 model is the same double din setup as the AVH-P3100DVD (same chassis dimensions) I installed in my A4, and there is zero room for the side plates to fit in the dash hole with the HU. Here's the hardware i used, and that I think he will need:
Metra 70-1787 wiring harness
Metra 99-9102 dash kit
Metra 40VW53 powered antenna adapter
Pioneer ADT-VA133 double din install kit

I've been able to get the sideplates to fit with a B5 and a B6 with a little bit of trimming however it was a Z2 I put in a B6. If you don't feel like fiddling with it then you are right as to getting the cage. Here's the link. We have them in stock.
