dice/dension ipod issue

Hello all, I need some help with a dice ipod hookup. I have the dice unit installed and it is working perfectly. When I try to use the dension active cradle I bought with it from enfig, my ipods won’t charge although all other functions are fine.

Note the cradle I am using is one listed on the enfig website here (http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/DENSION_DOCK_CRADLE.html) which appears to be part #ILCR345. Dension’s website lists the active cradle as having part #IP34CR9…is this a newer cradle version than the one I bought? And if so does this newer cradle support 5v charging with my dice unit?

I really want the ipod mounted on the dash and the only way I am going to be able to do this with the cradle I have now is to remove its wiring and epoxy the dice cable into the bottom of it. Not the professional look I was hoping for.

I can only find the new dension cradle for sale in Europe and I’m happy to order it from a site over there, but I’d like to know for sure that it will solve my issue before I plunk down the cash and order another cradle from halfway across the globe.

Also, I have read that the color of the plug on the ipod cable may indicate whether it is 5v compatible or not…the dice cable I have has a blue plug, the dension cradle I think has a black plug but I need to check that tonight.
