Posted in the B6 forum but didn't get much help so I was hoping for help over here. any help would be greatly appreciated [:)][up]

did all B6's come with a small subwoof in the rear deck?

I checked in the rear and i have a weird black black object where the sub would be.. is that the sub?

I have an aftermarket Pioneer D3 (installed a while back) , the installers said they had to bypass the stock amp or something.

I'm assuming they disconnected my amp so via my sub is disconnected as well?

thanks in advance

did all B6's come with a small subwoof in the rear deck? as far as I know...yes

I checked in the rear and i have a weird black black object where the sub would be.. is that the sub? from the bottom, you'll see a plastic grille on the driver's side, and you'll see the spider and motor structure of the sub...it won't look like your traditional subwoofer...

I have an aftermarket Pioneer D3 (installed a while back) , the installers said they had to bypass the stock amp or something. that depends, they either ran new wiring to each speaker, or just used an adaption harness to retain the use of your factory amp

I'm assuming they disconnected my amp so via my sub is disconnected as well? that depends... Stick your ear over the back dash while listening to your favorite 50cent track...you'll know pretty quick if your sub is working or not

thanks in advance
