Hi Folks,

recently acquired a 2007 RS4 and though the engine is music to my ears, I've decided I hate the RNS-E and Bose. Garmin has spoiled me, as has the NAD/Bryston/Monitor Audio system I have at home.

My wife got me a DNX7140 for my 45th birthday. But of course I had to get the cables, which Enfig was great about shipping. 1 day to Canada. Wow.

BUT, the instructions on those cables suck. So I need some help.

With respect to this picture http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/CONNECTS2_CTSAD002.htmlwhere the heck do the blue, green, grey and white leads with bullet connectors go ?

And with respect to this picture http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/CONNECTS2_CTKENWOODLEAD.html where the heck does the brown line with a bullet connector go and where does the DIN connector go ?

Thanks in advance. The Alpine H650, the two PDX 4.100s are all in the right quarter panel space, the 2 sets of Polk dB6501 components are in the doors already and the JL 10W3v3 is in a custom enclosre where the sat/cubbyhole used to be in the left rear quarter panel.. Just need to figure of the HU wiring !

Blue goes to the system remote wire (blue/white)
Grey goes to the reverse input wire (I believe purple/white)
White goes to the Parking brake input wire (i believe light green)

The brown wire off the connector goes to the blue/yellow steering wheel control wire off the Kenwood and the other end connects to the connnects2 box.

Thanks. Slowly figured it out using my Bentley manual. Good to have that info in a public forum anyway. What about the DIN connector that goes to the Connects2 box ? N/C as they say ?

That connector is for another type of Kenwood steering wheel connection I believe. No need for it.

OK. Last one on the CTSAD002 interface. There is a green wire that ends in a bullet connector as well. Connects somewhere ?

Trying to pare down to only what I need. Pulled all the speaker wire pins from the Connects2 quadlock that plugs into the loom plug that went into the RNS-E. They run to a plug with 2 modules of 8. As best I can tell that plug with 2 modules of 8 goes nowhere, but the 2nd part of that plug has black, yellow red and orange wires. Red and orange normally ignition and illumination if I read the Connects2 info on the web right. What's with that ? Do I connect these to wires on the Kenwood (there is an illumination lead) or is that taken care of elsewhere ? I know the Kenwood does have a night mode, so maybe it doesn't matter on the illumination ?

Thanks
