finally might just sell the thing as a whole
its a 2000 A6 2.7T 6spd
has a TT shift knob
has Febi control arm kit - heavy duty, complete kit
has brand new brakes installed - slightly bigger rotors, brand new pads
brand new tires
needs:
driver and passenger side window motors
needs to either:
a) new engine
b) new cylinder heads
broke a timing belt on my way home, @ the light it stalled out and wouldn't start, towed it home - found out about the belt
transmission had 1st, 2nd, Reverse gear syncro problem - bought a used transmission from a place in Webster, its on but not completed because of the engine issue; old transmission comes with the car also
will need front bumper to be patched up - had a fender bender, its nothing serious
will need trunk patched up - there is a dent in there on the top when kids threw a bike through my rear window, window was replaced with brand new glass via John Holtz
the car otherwise is complete, everything else works, no problems, not with suspension, neither itnercoolers, turbo's were still good, 120k miles - and clean title
good car for engine transplant - either V6 2.8, V8 4.2 or another 2.7T put on
the engine should be good to have worked on as well as the heads - but the heads were not removed, so that's why I say it might need a new block
really this is kind of a feeler, its been sitting for 2 years in the garage and is becoming an eye-sore, and I'd rather focus my time and money on the 944
need to get atleast $4k for it - car is straight and clean title, all electical stuff works, heated seats front and back with temp gauge, power sunroof - fully loaded basically, don't know about the cold wether package and stuff, but it looks like it has everything
