Currently I have yellow lamin-x over my fog lights and it's disrupting the flow of my front end... I am planning to purchase the gunsmoke color to help with the black/red theme on the front end. The only thing is, I really like the yellow fogs at night. My question is, could I put the gunsmoke film over the yellow film and have the gunsmoke color during the day and still have the yellow at night or is the yellow going to show through the gunsmoke during the day?

I know I could just apply the gunsmoke color and do yellow bulbs... I plan to do that when I remove my bumper after I purchase a new grille, but that is a few months away. Right now, I'm looking for a quick fix for a gunsmoke look during the day and yellow at night. Thanks!

I doubt it, the lens film is pretty thick and would probably just cover the yellow, or seriously restrict the output of them.

What's wrong with the yellow? I just put the yellow on my fogs last night and I think it looks pretty damn sweet.

yeah, one sheet of lamin-x reduces light output alot, two would be worse.

Id just remove the yellow and put the gunsmoke on and use yellow bulbs. We could knock that out in 30 minutes bro-1hour bro.

It looked really good when I first put them on, but now everything on my car is either black or red so the yellow on the fogs is throwing the flow off. The grayish black on my grille is throwing it off too, so I'll be replacing that soon as well.

Thanks for offering to help... Replacing fogs requires removing the bumper right? Not a tough job, but I was kinda hoping to kill two projects with one bumper removal (grille and fogs). But I don't have the $500+ to buy the OSIR grille and ring holder right now [:(].

Perhaps if we get together, we can check our cams and followers too... Gotta do that before making my next purchase/installation of an AWE fuel pump.

I think you only have to remove the bumper for fogs on Non-S-lines. If I remember correctly, the assembly on the S-line pulls from the front? Someone want to verify that?

Not sure if you're correct or not... But if you are, I'd have to remove the bumper since I'm non s-line [:(]. Just one more reason why I cut myself at night for not getting an s-line [=(]

hahaha, Sorry for the tease then. Could have sworn you were s-line. Bumpers gotta come off then.

lol sounds like a plan, just let me know. Taking off the bumper isnt hard at all. just alot of screws on the wheel well plastic.
You dont technically have to remove the bumper to replace the bulbs, but it might make it easier to remove the laminx.

Haha, there are definitely a LOT of screws. It took me a while the first time I took it off trying to figure everything out, but it should be pretty easy the second time around... Let me know when you're trying to get your hands dirty.
