The Audi Q5 is new and different and often that is what will attract people. I have had the opportunity
to go through the Q5 and its many features and I wanted to share my impressions.

If you have had a chance to drive the Q5 please leave your feedback and personal impressions.

i drove it at work. i think it drives really nice. it has some power when you need it and the steering is really nice. its really tight and quick and it takes the corners like a sports car. my mom might be getting one.

this and the q7 is definitely one of the nicer trucks out there...but then they made the mercedes glk which is the soccer mom killer....its gonna be some tight competition between the glk and q5

I was very impressed with the Q5. I have taken it on the highway and in city driving, and needless to say, it was an amazing drive.

I'd never buy an audi that's a first model year, but I'm sure it's a great vehicle.

haven't had the chance to drive one... but the only thing that kills me on it is the red rear turn signals. Maybe OEMpl.us can get the Euro ones with the amber turns

Test drove it with my girlfriend. has a nice ride and very roomy feel interior. The panorama roof gives incredible lighting during the day to the interior. Additionally, there seemed to be very little blind spots as well. All in all a good car. Would love it in a meaner engine if it were to be available. Going to put it to the test when i go to Audi Driving experience.

The engine felt more powerful and sounded better than I expected.

Handling--don't care for how any of these compares to a car. Though not bad for a compact SUV.

Exterior--tested vehicle had base wheels...

Interior--a let down after the highly optioned Euro-spec interiors in the auto show vehicles. Not bad, just not amazingly good.

There is a review of the Q5 in the latest issue of EuroBerge, which is viewable online :)

I bought a Q5 about 3 weeks ago. I was looking for a small SUV and have owned 2 A6's in the past and loved them. I tried out the RDX, the GLK and an ML in addition to the Q5. I loved the feel of the Q5 compared to the rest (GLK was not bad either but no room in the back seat for an adult at all) and ended up on deciding on the Q5 base model with a couple of options. Would have liked to have the Premium but delivery on those are sitting at November here in Vancouver at the moment and did not want to wait. I don't think that I am missing much by getting the base with the panorama sun roof and blue tooth. I really like the way it handles and on a short Hwy journey today I was getting 33 Miles to the gallon... not bad for cruising at 70! I am getting 20 around town and not driving with any particular care to fuel economy. The bolsters on the seat are taking some getting used to but overall a comfortable ride. Acceleration on the Hwy is very nice and it feels rock solid in general.

What dealer in Vancouver did you get your new Audi Q5 from?
