Posting from the hospital (graphic warning)

AZ Family:

I'm sleeping in the hospital for the second consecutive night.

Story:
I picked up a trashbag and got attacked by a piece of glass that came out of the bag as i picked it up. The glass did a number on my right leg. The laceration is 8cm in length and 5mm in width from what i was told. It's full thickness, meaning it cut through all 3 layers of skin. My friend could see tendons and muscles moving, contracting and expanding as i moved my toes and foot around.

I was sedated last night and the doctors got it all bandaged up. So now i'm just chillin here until Wednesday taking antibacterials through the IV.

the hospital i'm at has wireless that i'm on, but it's a pretty shitty connection, likely due to so many electronic gadgets interfering with it. that or i'm really far away from the connection since i'm the last room on my floor.

The SAME exact thing happened to my good friend with a broken champagne bottle. It was in a trash bag, he picked it up, and it shredded his leg. He had to get 25 staples.

Goodluck man, it is going to leave a bad ass scar.

yeah, as if my right leg needed any more scars. I've already had orthoscopic surgery on it which left one scar about an inch in length which you can see to the left of my knee in the pictures.

I have a suspicion of what it was that stabbed me, and it wasn't anything that one would recycle.

lol. my shit was bleeding quite a bit so they brought me in. only had to sit in the ER waiting room for 20 mins or so. I didn't choose between any smiley face scale. I wasn't in too much pain in the waiting room but when the doctor started to push here and poke there around this gaping hole in my leg, it became rather uncomfortable

i didn't pick it up that quickly, that's the craziest part. i mean, there was blood already all over the floor by the time i put the bag back down. I was confused/ in shock more than anything.
