Only you can answer if pink is "your" color for your car. If you do it, powder coating is the best and most durable way to do it. Should be about $100/wheel.

she is a girl, i say DOET :D just do it on the right rims, don't do rims like that subary, put some nice staggered set-up or some BBS and it shoul look hot OR do the rims black with Pink lips and paint the rings pink too, it is possible to pull this of and look hot ;)

There's a car running around Billings with Pink wheels. I don't think its horrible if the right person is driving it (i.e. Hot Girl). I'l try to get some pics of it, I see it regularly parked over by some massage place or something.

My friend back in Washington had a Bright Pink built B16 turbo'd Civic. I loved when we'd go drive it, just to watch the riceboys laugh, and then get eaten alive by an (obviously) girls car. Then some ass-hats stole it.

Some people can pull it off, some can't. Being a black car, I believe it would look better on that than any other color car. I also think the subtle hint of Brake Calipers would look more "classy" so to speak, or clean... I don't really know what word I'm going for here.

I probably wouldn't use the G2 for the center pieces, it won't look very good IMO. Maybe if you used some clear coat on top it might look ok, but it's up to you. Your best bet would try to find a pink paint that matches as closely to the G2. Good luck, post pics when you get it done.

Hahaha well I might just do the rings, calipers, and the lip of my rims... I can't put on the wheels until like March though because I live in Indiana and we get some good snow, which will be coming VERY shortly and I don't wanna screw them up! My boyfriend (ILoveT) is actually helping me with the pink and I think he'd drive it as long as there wasn't a lot of it and if I do some other mods.

I actually saw the car with the "pink" wheels drive by my house today. I was mistaken, she only had in between the spokes of the wheels painted pink, and the faces were still polished/painted silver. Pink isn't my color of choice, but they did look cool rolling. I'll see if I can't get a pic of it tomorrow, assuming its where it usually sits.

Well that post doesn't mean anything to me. I like the color pink. I will do what I like. I don't like boy colors such as blue... so why would I do that?? I'm not doing the rings.... or they would have already been done along with the calipers... but I chose not to for obvious reasons. Also, I'm not doing entire pink wheels... I can't put rims on till about march since the snow lasts that long...but when I do, I'll keep them how they are or just paint the lip. That's all that's gonna be pink.

Where @ in Indiana??? I have a powdercoater that is very very reasonable. He blasted and powdered all 4 rims, including barrel for $150.....He's located in Warsaw. I'm over in Valpo. Looks great btw. Very subtle and clean. Also sweet acid brush haha.

Hey I'm actually from Chesterton, I see that you're from valpo... I'm at school in Muncie, and Warsaw is half way between school and home for me so maybe I'll try that out! Does he have pink that would match my calipers? I just want the lips done I think. Oh yeah and I did the calipers with a G2 painting kit that I ordered online and that's the brush that came with it.. It was a really good kit... it's not like I said hey I'm gonna hit up Wal-Mart, grab a Crayola paint kit and hope it works! [:p]

I know, I know.... If you were living in Wyoming and knew how bad the roads were, you wouldn't lower your car either. I lived in the town with the single most fucked up roads ever. At intersections, if you didn't slow down to about 5mph, you'd bottom your shit out.

My EG civic sedan you couldn't fit a pack of smokes sideways underneath, and didn't have much of an oil pan left when I sold it. I wasn't about to destroy the Audi.

Either way I'm rocking the stockers, with newer Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's [;)]
