So I've had numerous bad experiences with Miramar Audi but I wanted to get my car serviced asap. I usually make the drive all the way up to Hoehn in Carlsbad, but since Robert is no longer there, and Miramar is closer, I thought I'd give them a shot and see if things have improved. Well, they havent, Ruben's a really cool guy but the techs in my opinion suck.

I took the whip in to have some things fixed:
Rear tailight would go out, but then go back on when I tap the light, stereo froze and wouldn't turn on or off, the actuator in the driver side door would make a buzzing sound when I lock or unlock the door, and scheduled maintenance.

So I get my ride back like 10 minutes before they close and of course everything is cool. About an hour later, the dash indicates the left rear driver light is out!! Then I notice a fat greasy hand print on the fabric off the door pillar on the passenger side!! I'm just so ecstatic at this point!! Then I go to pick up this chick at 8 and now my door wont open, so I had to bust it "Dukes of Hazard" style. Sorry to b1tch and moan...but it's just fuggen irritating!! Be forewarned!

<this is Imperial, posting from FINA4's comp>

That's unfortunate to hear that you had such an unpleasant experience with Miramar. So far as I'm concerned, it's no surprise, heh. You should definitely complain to Miramar, I'd say. They should know about the crap their techs pull or pulled.

I think feedback to Miramar Service Department would bring better results than posting it here. Even though it's a crappy incident...feel ya.

Ha ha, good ol Miramar Audi. That sounds about par. I have heard of way worse incidents than that, but it still sucks. I go to Metro for parts. Haven't had a service yet. Hoehn is way too far from my house.

Post here and complain to the service rep, spread the word. Let them know you posted, and that their deed do not go un-noticed. Also, post any follow-up, let's see if the care about costomer service and the reputation.

I got craptacular service from them on my parents TT in the past. I feel your pain.

Go back and make them put things right.

Almost everyone has heard my gripes against Miramar. Audi needs to revoke their ability to sell or work on Audi's PERIOD! What a bunch of morons, yeah I too had that greasy paw pring on my B5 as well.

Sorry to hear about your car Mark...figures, sorry a*s Miramar. I won't ever take my car there, even though they are 5 minutes from my house...especially after hearing about what their car wash guy did to audiracer's (Rob's) wheels and rotors.

Just took my car into Hoehn yesterday for the 30k mile service and to get a few odds and ends replaced/checked out...even though Rob is gone, Hoehn is still above and beyond any other service department in SD.

They suck, They suck, They suck!!!!!!

Screw Miramar, hell I live 1.2 miles from that dealership and if I could not drive it I still would tow it up to Hoehn. Screw them!

I used to go there when I had my Jetta. They pulled crap with me a couple times, too, so from there I trucked down to Metro VW/Audi in downtown to avoid Miramar.

Veto Miramar fo sho.

We need to get an exec from Audi to read these forums. I would be livid if I saw these postings.

Fill out the customer surveys they have on the counter at Miramar Audi and mail it in. I did and actually received a call from AoA in a couple of weeks and was able to share my opinion of the dealership.
