First off, I wanted to say thanks to Peter (Nickel1.8) for picking me up one of these bad boys! I was a bit worried about it falling off of my car going 95 down the freeway, but no problems so far! (Knock on wood)

A few pointers to those who pick one of these up and use their digital still camera with it:

1: Figure out how to keep the shutter open longer on your camera BEFORE you go out and decide to take photos with it.

2: Get a more aerodynamic camera if you plan on taking stills at very high speeds. (eg. 95 MPH)

3: Watch where you are driving while you are pressing the snapshot button, otherwise it could end up with very bad consequences.

4: Either get a camera with a remote, or a longer timer mode than 12 seconds. It can be a real pain in the arse pressing the button, running around your already open door, jumping in your car, shutting the door, getting it in gear, getting the car moving, and setting up the shot you want in 12 seconds.(when your camera is mounted on the hood of course)

5: Last but not least, when you mount your camera on your hood and do some autocross maneuvering in the nearest well lit parking lot, it is impossible to not have a stupid look on your face when the camera finally snaps those pics.
