Yeah, I'm accustomed to hearing birds in the morning and stuff, but they haven't been around. And I haven't seen a crow in about 2 weeks. Did that West Nile Virus kill them off, or did they fly south a little early? Anyone else notice this?

You know what strange things have been going on. I've noticed an abundance of flies in th neighborhood lately. They are always trying to get in the house. I'v also noticed alot of dead birds. West nile? I also posted the other day how I killed a fly that wouldnt move off of my arm. Then later that day I tried to shoo one away with my foot and it just sat there. They both couldn't fly...

Uhhhh thats a Negatory good buddy. I don't want to come home to my 60 gallon glass saltwater tank on my floor along with my 26 gallon bowfront reef. Speaking of the bird thing, there was a dead crow in my neighbors driveway the other day. I didn't really pay any attention to it, but that is very strange....

Plenty of birds down south.... I'd attribute their disappearance to chemical spraying [pesticides, insecticides,..]. Birds are one of the first affected by this. Read "Silent Spring".

Not a problem here in Ventura. Infact we are seeing are fall migratory birds coming through. Alot of neat birds, and the mournings are full of bird songs. We do not have many crows here, but the ravens are around, and hang out in my pine trees.
